SRAM Cycling Fund: 2009-2023. Active Transportation Alliance:
1987-2009. Lives in Chicago with Susan Geil. They enjoy being outside in all kinds of weather, backpacking and being grandparents.

Nate Hutcheson
Network Director (he/him)
Co-leads Chicago Bike Grid Now. Managed volunteers at The Recyclery, a community bike shop. Believes that relationships and purpose are at the heart of resilient joyful communities. Lives car-light in Lincoln Square with his wife and two daughters.

Dr Brenda Dixon
Board Member (she/her)
President and Founder of Major Taylor Trail Keepers Chicago, which champions the Major Taylor Trail and the well-being of nearby neighborhoods on Chicago’s South Side. 25+ yrs experience in youth and community advocacy, education, and research.

Milay Galvez
Board Member (she/her)
Dir of Advocacy for BikeCo. Active in advocacy for the sporting goods industry. Persuaded the UCI to bring the Women’s World Cup to USA and her home town, Philadelphia. A Founder of The Cuba Foundation, philanthropic engagement that directly benefits the Cuban people.

Anna Kelso
Board Member (she/her)
Active Modes Specialist with Fort Collins, CO where she is grateful to raise her two children in a platinum Bicycle Friendly Community. Previously, bike & enviro advocacy for Bike MD, LAB and EPA. She enjoys long rides in N. CO and manages VeLoco, purveyor of gold sprints and general shenanigans.

Amy Rynell
Board Member (she/her)
Leads Active Transportation Alliance, where she champions Chicago region walking, cycling and transit. She recently served as co-chair of the Plan of Action for Regional Transit chartered by the IL Legislature recom-mending how to fund and build the transit system we want. She loves getting around by foot, bicycle, bus, and transit.
